"Der Luftpirat und sein lenkbares Luftschiff" is a German science fiction pulp novel series published between 1908 and 1911. Captain Mors, the Air Pirate, commands a dirigible airship and a space-capable vehicle called the Meteor. After revolutionaries murder his family in Georgia, he vows revenge and pursues criminals and anarchists across Earth and beyond. With his Indian crew, Mors battles enemies from his secret Pacific island base, eventually venturing to Venus, Mars, and other planets inhabited by alien civilizations.
