"Der Luftpirat und sein lenkbares Luftschiff 42: Im Todeskrater des neuen…" is a German science fiction dime novel series published from 1908 to around 1911/12. The series follows Captain Mors, a masked aviator who pilots an airship and a space-capable vehicle called the Meteor. After his family is murdered by revolutionaries in Georgia, Mors wages a vengeful campaign against criminals and anarchists across Earth and beyond. With his Indian crew, he explores inhabited worlds including the Moon, Venus, and Mars, encountering alien civilizations and interplanetary conflicts.
